Designed as a drive-in, viewers/visitors were able tune in to a broadcast radio soundtrack accompanying the loves of a ladybug. Fascinating documentary footage of the reproductive process of a "lady"bug, shot in the woods of Southern Ontario during a ladybug invasion is set to a diverse collection of songs about "ladies". Playfully commenting on gender and sexual politics, "Ladies!" uses humour to foreground a number of cultural assumptions - and not just these about insects...
